City of Hope, Irvine Receives Cunningham & Green Donation


The City of Hope in Irvine California was the recipient of children’s gift packages donated by Cunningham and Green at a brief ceremony on Thursday, April 14, 2024.
 
Judy Rose, Supportive Care Director, and Diane Briggs, Executive Assistant, accepted the gifts on behalf of Annette Walker, City of Hope President. Each gift contained a “Little Lucy, Where are My Spots?” book about the value of having patience and hope, and a Little Lucy “Color and Learn” book and crayons. Six of the original watercolor illustrations in the books by watercolor artist and co-author, Judy Cunningham, were on display at the City of Hope 2023/24 Fall Gallery.
 
Cunningham and Green are honored to participate in the City of Hope’s efforts to support the families of those undergoing treatment for the eradication of cancer. ”If Little Lucy brings a smile to a child, parent or City of Hope professional, it will be mission accomplished, Thank you for the state-of-the-art cancer treatment and support you bring to Orange County California, ” Judy stated at the April ceremony.
 
Co-Authors Judy Cunningham and Angie Ford-Green are very pleased to make this donation “For the love of children, and the joy of art, reading and learning.”
